Beautiful story! I could really feel your admiration for your father and how you appreciated time with him even though he was so busy working so hard.

Yes, and I remember how your father did all he could to save the family left in Poland by bringing them over.

Your writing is so beautifully profound, and the story comes vividly alive. The love and respect you had for your father is palpable.

Such a beautiful piece. You capture your father’s life, and the life of so many Jews from Russia. I have read many of your poems and pieces. This is one of the most moving. You brought him alive, as well as you as a little girl. How the war in Gaza, and now in Lebanon and the West Bank, following the October 7 massacre, have incited historic hatred.

A lovely and meaningful story. Your father did all he could for your family. It was a difficult life, especially in Russia and when he came to America. It may have had tsuris but much joy , espcially from his chidren.

Love, Stan
