I’d love to have a smart conversation with someone who actually read this essay. Someone who knows I never denounced Judaism. Someone who knows the definition of Zionism is the right for Jews to have a homeland. Someone who knows that babies were slaughtered by Hamas in a murderous rampage attacking sleeping families in their beds and young people who liked to dance.
Alas, you are not that person. Perhaps go read a history book, my uneducated friend. Then get back to me.

Check your facts and definitions before further fueling the firestorm of anti-Semitism. And as for “the most violent ideology,” look no further than Hamas, the group you sidestep with every response. To repeat, Zionism is the belief in the right to a Jewish homeland. Period. You can disagree with Israeli politics and its leaders and still be a Zionist. Demonizing Zionism is akin to demonizing the Jewish people’s granted right to a safe home. Again, be open to facts. The blights of ignorance and bigotry are best cured by exposure to the veracity of history. A dose of truth would go a long way in curing those ills. Wishing you speedy healing.

If you prefer to abandon Judaism totally and embrace Zionism, you need do nothing more than slaughter babies every day.

Zionism is diametrically opposes to everything Judaism stands for. It is the most supremacist violent ideology in history.
Bar none.

Stop it. Are you a bot?
Not a bot, Tim. A Zionist. Looking to educate one ignorant person at a time.
No more hideous supremacist ideology in history
My Jewish coming of age story is sadly very similar to yours. So relatable and well written. Thank you for sharing.
